How to publish your link-in-bio page for free
Once you click Copy as HTML, you have a complete, self-contained webpage. Here are three ways to publish it with zero cost:
- Netlify Drop — Go to app.netlify.com/drop, save the HTML as
index.htmlon your desktop, then drag the file onto the drop zone. You get a permanent URL instantly, and you can add a custom domain from the Netlify dashboard later. - GitHub Pages — Create a public repo named
yourname.github.io, upload the file asindex.html, enable Pages in Settings → Pages → Deploy from branch. Your URL ishttps://yourname.github.io. - Tiiny.host — Upload the file at tiiny.host and get a shareable link in seconds. Free tier has a 500 visitor/month limit.
Any of these gives you an https:// URL you can paste into TikTok, Instagram, X, or wherever you drop your bio link.
Why a custom page beats Linktree (and other alternatives)
Third-party link-in-bio tools own the URL. If they change their pricing, shut down, or add branding to your page, you have no control. A page you host yourself:
- Stays yours forever. You control the URL, the design, and the content.
- Has no third-party logo. Your page represents you, not the platform that built it.
- Loads faster. Pure HTML and CSS — no JavaScript framework, no analytics scripts, no tracking pixels.
- Can be indexed by search engines. Linktree pages are blocked from Google. A page on your own domain is not.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to sign up or pay anything?
No — the builder runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server. Click "Copy as HTML", paste the file anywhere you want to host it, and you're live. There is no account, no subscription, and no upsell.
Where can I host the HTML file for free?
The most common free options: GitHub Pages (drag the HTML file into a repo and enable Pages — takes about two minutes), Netlify Drop (drag the file onto netlify.com/drop and get an instant URL), or Tiiny.host. Any web host that serves static files works. Your link-in-bio URL is then whatever URL your host gives you.
How many links can I add?
The builder has no hard limit, but research on link-in-bio pages consistently shows that five to seven links perform better than a dozen — visitors click more when they have fewer choices. Add your most important destinations first; you can always update the HTML and re-upload.
Can I change the design after I copy the HTML?
Yes. The output is a single self-contained HTML file with all the CSS inline. Open it in any text editor and change colours, font sizes, or button styles directly. The file has no dependencies — it is just HTML and CSS.
Why build my own page instead of using Linktree or Bio.link?
Third-party link-in-bio services own the URL and can change their pricing, branding, or terms at any time. A page you host yourself stays under your control forever, has no third-party logo on it, loads faster (pure HTML, no JS framework), and is indexed by search engines as its own URL — which platforms like Linktree suppress.
Will TikTok and Instagram let me link to a self-hosted page?
Yes. Both platforms accept any valid https:// URL in the bio link field. The page just needs to be reachable on the public internet — any of the free hosting options above will give you an https:// URL.
